Ohio Seeing Dramatic Increase of PTSD and Suicide

More returning troops from Iraq, Afghanistan
at risk for suicides.

Minutes before he put a gun to his chest and pulled the trigger on the morning of 
Jan. 3, Curt Fike sent a text message to his sister saying he was about to end his life.

The Marine who served three combat missions in four years in Iraq sent another message to his co-workers at the Dayton National Cemetery, saying, “Take good care of me when I’m at the national cemetery.”
