Partial scholarships for professionals who treat our active duty and veteran military service members with psychological problems

Drs. Aaron and Judith Beck conduct Cognitive Behavior Therapy training for professionals at Beck Institute.

Health and mental health professionals who treat active duty military personnel, veterans, and their families require state-of-the-art training in effective treatments for depression, suicidality, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, anger, and personality disorders. The internationally renowned Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy has trained thousands of civilian and military professionals in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), shown in hundreds of clinical trials to be effective for these and a wide range of other psychological problems.

To increase the number of professionals trained to provide evidence-based treatment, Beck Institute has begun a partial-scholarship program for CBT Workshops at Beck Institute.  Beck Institute offers a variety of Level I and Level II CBT workshops held numerous time per year. Visit Training & Scholarships to learn more about the CBT workshops and how to apply for a partial scholarship.

The Beck Institute also offers a number of other training opportunities to health and mental health professionals at all levels of expertise.

  • Senior Beck Institute Faculty travel throughout the world to provide on-site training. We will work with your organization to create a personalized training program to suit your needs.
  • Participants in the Beck Institute Supervision Program can elect to learn how to deliver competent CBT supervision.
  • Find complete information about these training opportunities on the Beck Institute website.

About the Military

U.S. Military 101 The "Basics" of the United States Military Reserve members fall within one of the four main branches of the military: Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy. Each branch has a group of reserves, but only the Air Force and Army attain a National Guard. In times of conflict and war, the President can call to duty all members of the reserves, but requires state approval for activation of the National Guard.
